Public education is under attack and Hoosier families are suffering. One of the biggest challenges facing Hoosier families is the growing school lunch debt. When children are properly fed during school, they learn so much better. That's why I started a program to erase school lunch debt in Johnson County because when our children thrive, we all succeed.

When the U.S. Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade, Indiana raced to ban abortion across the state, being the first state to ban them after the landmark ruling. Now, they are trying to criminalize doctors for providing life-saving treatments and are even going after fertility treatments. The government has no right to restrict your freedom to get medical care.

Queer Hoosiers are Hoosiers, and they deserve to be treated as such. For too long, we have treated them like second-class citizens: denial of life-saving medical treatment, a lack of housing protections, no employment protections,  no right under STATE LAW to marry.
